Latvian National Library, Barona iela 14, is inviting everyone to participate in a discussion dedicated to books in digital environment “Grāmata digitālajā vidē. E-grāmata II” on the 11th of March 2010.

This event is taking over a discussion started on an exibition Latvia Book Fair 2010 regarding the implementation of digital technologies in book reading and about new electronic readers, and also about the possibilities of the development of electronic books in Latvia.

You will have a chance to listen to writer Pauls Bankovskis, blogger and enthusiast of new technologies Kristaps Skutelis, Zvaigzne ABC publishing house representative Vija Kilbloka, eGramata.lv project leader Edgars Ivanovs, and a head of the AKKA/LAA Legal Department Imants Belogrivs.

The discussion is going to be held by the Head of Latvian National Digital Library Letonica Uldis Zariņš.
