In March, the National Library of Latvia held a discussion on electronic books. The discussion was very lively, with different viewpoints. As a result, questions were asked more than received a replies. The main theme of the questions was copyright protection, and cost of electronic content in view of peculiarities of the Latvian market.

During the discussion, we met with one of the participants – Kristaps Skutelis – Latvian blogger, interested in modern technology. Kristaps has kindly agreed to test one of the models of electronic readers. He placed overview of PocketBook 301+ at his site www.krizdabz.lv before Easter.
